A material designed to crisp food in the microwave. It forms an integral part of the packaging.

In Depth

Food approved carrier paper is laminated with a vacuum metalized film. The paper then acts as a heat sink to enable even crisping and browning of the food.
 
The optical density of the film has to be controlled very accurately to ensure that the product works effectively.
