Also known as Polythene, this lightweight material is generally favoured for its high yield and elasticity over its clarity. Available as CD treated, plain or a heat sealable co-extruded film. We can offer bespoke grades to fulfil all requirements.

In Depth

Available as a plain film extensively used in the production of tissue boxes, this extremely lightweight film has a CD treatment to aid adhesion, and is available with or without centre perforations.
 
In addition to this A Warne also supplies a heat sealable grade of Polythene developed for use with a number of various coin sorting machines
 
Although LDPE has a hazy appearance, it has the benefit of being able to include various additives at the manufacturing stage making it the ideal solution to cope with more specialist requirements. Anything from UV inhibiting and anti-static grades to more specific colour requirements can easily be produced.
